Now for my first challenge with them I did select Challenge #123, it came out pretty good I think and is a very elegant subtle look. the challenge was easy to accomplished and I'm very happy doing this for a nice cause. Please comment I would love to know what you think and thanks for visiting my blog.

  7. Great to have you as part of the OWH family! Nice job on your first sketch card. This card is very pretty and would be great as an Any Hero card with a note to a hero written in it . These get put into the boxes with the lank cards and never have to be mailed back to the states in an envelope so thicker embellishments like flowers make it to them intact. I look forward to seeing more! :)

  8. Thank you Paula, I think I manage well to assemble this card and the results were very nice I wish you could see it in real life.

The flaw with the card though was something I read today on the OWH site, that if the card was glue with a glue stick is a no go. Unfortunately I don't have yet an ATG gun or any adhesive that will have like a runner tape so that made me sad :(

  9. Welcome to OWH! I have been making cards for our deployed military for one year and have learned lots, made 'virtual' friends, and try to join both challenges every week. The sketch challenge is on Sunday and on Wednesday there is another challenge (like use certain colors, certain embellishments, etc). Your card is lovely and your site is terrific! Also, thanks for the tutorial ;)
