Dear Father 2022 {Assemblage Baseboard}

Yesterday was father's day, I was thinking about my father. It's been a long time since he passed away and despite all the family problems, I miss him.

I have made this Assemblage Baseboard in his memory, I've put a lot of thought on it and every item that you see here represents his younger life. Is quite interesting that I might be the only one in the family who knows more about him than his other children. Sometimes we spent a lot of time talking about his past with me and I've taken that with me throughout my life.

The Assemblage Baseboard was all made with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology the only thing that is not Tim Holtz is the picture, is not part of his photo booth and the mini bulb. It was a great experience putting all this things together to remember a person that was part of my younger life.

I hope you are next to your father on a day like this, treasure him. And if your father is not around anymore just celebrate his life by remembering him.

I've done a nice TikTok click here.

You are more than welcome to leave me a comment about your Father's Day Celebration.

Compendium of Curiosities 2 - Pockect Watch

So for this technique chosen for this week’s CC2C Challenge on the Studio L3 blog is the Pocket Watch .  The instructions for the technique can be found on page 35 of Tim Holtz’s book Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2. Love the pocket watch is such an amazing thing to do and then yet I feel is like a little treasure that has disappear in time. Now I've always find pocket watches very sexy and attractive in a man, once in my life I met a man that would use a pocket watch and I was so fascinated with his style, this is such and old tradition but men around the World don't consider this an attractive watch to wear or carry. I have to thank Tim for bringing this tradition back in a Vintage way like everything Tim does an I can keep one forever. So for this spectacular piece I've used as the background for my Pocket Watch Tim Holtz Paper, some metal embellishments metal clock plate, spinner and small key, the stamped number 63 comes from a Tim Holtz Clear Rubber Stam
