Spellbinders and Mickey

There is no doubt that Tim Holtz and I have a child in our heart. I love Disney and so does Tim, since the early 70's I've been visiting these parks Disney, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, MGM etc. All my child and teen life basically, how ever it's obvious I grew older and the visits to the park has been less but the love is still in my heart. I own many Mickey things and I love them all, every time I have the opportunity to get something Mickey I will lol...

The story is that Spellbinders has come out with some cool crafting things for you to play with and Tim did his magic, showing us all how cool the dies are to make so many things with them. I do have some stamps and also some dies and I have done Mickey cards with Mickey as well but this particular ones that Spellbinders has are so cute.

If you haven't seen Tim playing with the Spellbinders Mickey Mouse line please do, you wont regret it is so cool!

Operation Write Home - Sketch Challenge #123

I've decide to join Operation Write Home and I did my first attempt on doing a nice card specially for this Holiday of Memorial Day 2012. If you don't know what Operation Write Home is I encourage you to visit their site an read what is all about. I think is a great cause and allot of people has been involved. Now for my first challenge with them I did select Challenge #123 , it came out pretty good I think and is a very elegant subtle look. the challenge was easy to accomplished and I'm very happy doing this for a nice cause. Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2 - Faux Patina

I've just joined the Studio L3 challenges that are techniques from Tim Holtz book Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2. This challenge is about the technique Faux Patina. I created a background following the description on page 58 from the book and try my best to create a Mixed Media environment.

Mixed Media Art Journal

Well, I finally started a Mixed Media Art Journal recently. I've been wanting to do this for quite a while but it has taken some time cause I've been gathering some material that I didn't have to create this project. But after hard work and patience I got some cool things, not the best though but art material that will help me create my art. I want to thank all the people that have help me and donate money to keep me going with my Art projects they know who they are. Mixed media has been one of those things that I've always liked, when I was at Art school people was more concentrated on doing perfection while I was going wild and there is when I've realized that I love to worked with Mixed Media Art.
