Simon Hurley Inks and Stamp Set Under The Sea

The other day I was watching a series of videos on YouTube and I came across this young guy named Simon Hurley a Card Maker. Mind you that I haven't been crafting in a while other than painting and urban sketching. Very fast I've learned that he has his own inks with Ranger Ink and that he designs products for Ranger, which is super cool.

His products seems to be different from everything I have done so far, so I've order some inks and a stamp set and his Stark White Cardstock 110 lb that is suppose to be a very good cardstock for blending inks. I've always struggle with blending inks so I also got some blending brushes from Amazon and boala magic happened.

His products are amazing love the ink colors and these are all named with fun names and all you can do with the inks is fun like blending, watercoloring, stamp etc. The stamps are cute and fun and they were bigger then I was expecting so you can do allot with one set, also the quality of the Photopolymer stamps are durable. Not to mention that this products are all made in the USA. The cardstock is the one product that makes it all happen and highly recommend it. Over all it was a fresh and awesome experience making a couple of cards trying out his products.

I will definitely will keep buying more of his inks and products to make fun cards, now all I need is time to play with all this fun stuff.

Compendium of Curiosities 2 - Pockect Watch

So for this technique chosen for this week’s CC2C Challenge on the Studio L3 blog is the Pocket Watch .  The instructions for the technique can be found on page 35 of Tim Holtz’s book Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2. Love the pocket watch is such an amazing thing to do and then yet I feel is like a little treasure that has disappear in time. Now I've always find pocket watches very sexy and attractive in a man, once in my life I met a man that would use a pocket watch and I was so fascinated with his style, this is such and old tradition but men around the World don't consider this an attractive watch to wear or carry. I have to thank Tim for bringing this tradition back in a Vintage way like everything Tim does an I can keep one forever. So for this spectacular piece I've used as the background for my Pocket Watch Tim Holtz Paper, some metal embellishments metal clock plate, spinner and small key, the stamped number 63 comes from a Tim Holtz Clear Rubber Stam
