Happy New Year {2024}

Well 2024 is here, allot to reflect and think about the past year. For me 2023 was a good year, I've traveled to new places that I've never been before and it was fun to come back to what I use to do allot when I was younger. I went to Kansas, Washington State, California, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida so I would go out mostly every month and then I was in Kansas twice. I've learned allot and get use to the traveling since it has changed allot since the last time I've travel wich was around 2005.

Family is all good, we have goals to meet this year but hopefully everything goes according to planned. My Art and Crafts joy was slow this year making one thing here and there but not much, what I did new was learned how to paint with Oil Paints, even though I've try that before it was fun to come back and really make beautiful Art, you can check out my Fine Art if you click here.

Overall I feel good and hopefully 2024 will be better, I wish you a Happy New Year an enjoy the Journey!

Operation Write Home - Sketch Challenge #123

I've decide to join Operation Write Home and I did my first attempt on doing a nice card specially for this Holiday of Memorial Day 2012. If you don't know what Operation Write Home is I encourage you to visit their site an read what is all about. I think is a great cause and allot of people has been involved. Now for my first challenge with them I did select Challenge #123 , it came out pretty good I think and is a very elegant subtle look. the challenge was easy to accomplished and I'm very happy doing this for a nice cause. Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2 - Faux Patina

I've just joined the Studio L3 challenges that are techniques from Tim Holtz book Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2. This challenge is about the technique Faux Patina. I created a background following the description on page 58 from the book and try my best to create a Mixed Media environment.

Mixed Media Art Journal

Well, I finally started a Mixed Media Art Journal recently. I've been wanting to do this for quite a while but it has taken some time cause I've been gathering some material that I didn't have to create this project. But after hard work and patience I got some cool things, not the best though but art material that will help me create my art. I want to thank all the people that have help me and donate money to keep me going with my Art projects they know who they are. Mixed media has been one of those things that I've always liked, when I was at Art school people was more concentrated on doing perfection while I was going wild and there is when I've realized that I love to worked with Mixed Media Art.
