Tim Holtz Distress Archival Inks (Part 2)

Mission accomplished Tim Holtz Distress Archival Inks collection is complete. And they are fabulous, I absolutely love the colors and how they work with the rest of the Tim Holtz Distress Line. I've spent my morning swatching colors with Tim's goodies and it was so fun and relaxing, you can find the color chart here if you want to start your own collection on have some of these inks.

Tim has a magnificent video on his blog explaining this particular product and is definitely very helpful if you have never used these inks. I have some experience cause I've worked with Archival Inks in the past and they are good for certain things when you make different kind of projects. Mind you that Archival Inks and Tim Holtz Distress Archival Inks are exactly the same thing and they work the same way what it changes is the color choice.

Try them out you will be blown away by the beautiful colors and what you can create with them.

Now I would like to hear from you:

  • Do you use Tim Holtz Archival inks?

Compendium of Curiosities 2 - Pockect Watch

So for this technique chosen for this week’s CC2C Challenge on the Studio L3 blog is the Pocket Watch .  The instructions for the technique can be found on page 35 of Tim Holtz’s book Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2. Love the pocket watch is such an amazing thing to do and then yet I feel is like a little treasure that has disappear in time. Now I've always find pocket watches very sexy and attractive in a man, once in my life I met a man that would use a pocket watch and I was so fascinated with his style, this is such and old tradition but men around the World don't consider this an attractive watch to wear or carry. I have to thank Tim for bringing this tradition back in a Vintage way like everything Tim does an I can keep one forever. So for this spectacular piece I've used as the background for my Pocket Watch Tim Holtz Paper, some metal embellishments metal clock plate, spinner and small key, the stamped number 63 comes from a Tim Holtz Clear Rubber Stam
